It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been on here. I’ve been working on finishing Johnny Cash, which is done now and will be free this weekend (I’ll let you know). For some reason, I’m feeling melancholy today and remembering the great talent we have lost over the years.

One of the major parts of the Oscar Awards every year is their tribute to all those we’ve lost the previous year. Here’s a song that I just had to hear again. Do you remember “Rock and Roll Heaven” by the Righteous Brothers? It was recorded in 1974 a few years after we lost several performers right near the start of the Seventies.Most of the performers named are shown in pictures in the video, but some aren’t.

Can you name them all? They end with Bobby Hatfield who was alive when the song was released, but who died in 2003.
